Getting a Head Start in the Weekend!

YAY...I mean, oh no. Friday's off of school for a holiday that I'm not sure of! I do love school, but I like breaks off doing things like that, and here, we're going to get a head start in the weekend! Well, the first thing for the weekend is to remember the rules of off school. Take advantage of this time and go do something that'll be amazing!

(School Pie, I know, does topics on school but listen to this topic: No School Friday--get a head start in the weekend. I mentioned the word 'school', didn't I?)

Rules to the Weekend:
1. Sleep In. When you have to wake up early everyday for school, take advantage of head starts and sleep quietly in your bed as much as possible, up until you're fully awake and slept the sleep outta you.
2. Do things big. School time takes up most of the day in schooldays, so be sure to do something wonderful or just fun--sports, club meetings, or just hanging around with friends. Just do something , okay?
3. I guess that's all. Just do whatever's fine to you, and try to avoid something you dislike as much as you possibly can.

Okay, that's the three rules to the weekend. Try trying them out, and see if you're weekend will turn out better.

ATTENTION! CONTESTS:
It's a story-writing competition on what you dream to do over the weekend. Try to use as much details as possible and if you'd like, add pictures. Any kind are fine--photos taken, pictures from online, or just drawings. Don't use anything inappropriate either---nobody really wants to hear about that.

Deadline: November 30th, so it'll give you plenty of time to work on it.

One to three paragraphs. Try making it short.

Winner's prize: Getting it posted on this blog and getting to be an author for a month.

TRY YOUR BEST!
(Please, please, please!)
Or at least I think so...

HAVE FUN WITH YOUR WEEKEND!

Discover the New Way to Fun!

Hi everybody! This is, though my first post, my very, very, first post, and I guess you're all thinking that doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Well, it does make no sense, but that's not what I'm going to talk about.

Today I went on the amazing website shown by our great computer teacher (which I forget the name of) and saw plenty of information, educational games and tons of interesting videos which gets you learning. The site is the 'Discovery Portal' and is a website linked in my blog. Go to 'buttons' and click 'Discovery Portal Page' to go to the Portal Page to all those things that I mentioned.

Well, that's just the first part. I also got an optical illusions book from Lana which was called Action Optical Illusions by Al Seckel. It's an amazing book which shows different kinds of optical illusion pictures and photos which show how to see the illusion or how to do it yourself. One trick that was a do-it-yourself one was that if you rub two quarters between your fingers quick enough then another, or third quarter will appear. Money magic!

Also, there were awesome reports for 'Science Mini Projects' and we just finished them up. There, I remember, were penguins, solar power, electricity, and one that I can't spell. That one my friend Mary did, on the name of her swim team. I did mine on Cats, but it wasn't as great as any other one!

'Hope my life at school sounds interesting to you. Oh--and, I will be adding some new authors soon!
